Once you have chosen the way to reach Sardinia, by plane or by ship, you can choose which city to land or disembark in and organize the journey to reach the holiday apartments.
By bus
It is possible to reach Porto Pino by bus by purchasing a Pullman ticket with the Arst agency selecting the route: Cagliari – Sant ‘Anna Arresi, which is 4 km from Porto Pino.
By car
To reach Porto Pino by car, we recommend using the navigator, temporarily setting Carbonia as a destination. Arriving near Carbonia, set Porto Pino as your final destination.
Driving directions from Cagliari | Port or Elmas Airport
1. Follow the signs for the 4-lane highway to Iglesias (you pass Assemini-Decimomannu-Siliqua-Musei)
2. After passing the exit for Museums, take the right exit for Villamassargia-Carbonia
3. At the traffic lights of Villamassargia on the right for Carbonia (4 lanes)
4. In proximity of Carbonia continue up to the SS126 and take the direction of S.Antioco
5. You will find yourself on the SS with various roundabouts for Carbonia – always straight.
6. Continue towards San Giovanni Suergiu and cross it.
7. Remaining on the coast road, after the detour to Porto Botte finish the large curve slightly uphill and exit on the right on the SP73 towards Porto Pino
8. Stay on the SP73 coastal road to the end of the Is Pillonis T-junction where you will proceed to the right for Porto Pino.
From Olbia (Harbor or airport) | Porto Torres | Alghero
1. Follow the signs for the 4-lane highway 131 to Cagliari
2. You go beyond Oristano
3. After passing the exit for Sanluri, exit right for Samassi on the SS197
4. Continue towards Vallermosa and cross it. After about 500m from the end of the inhabited center, at the crossroads, keep right (direction Domusnovas)
5. After approximately 7km you will find a left side street with a small junction – turn left
6. Near the junction with the 130 highway, keep right towards Iglesias
7. After passing the exit for Museums, take the right for Villamassargia-Carbonia
8. At the Villamassargia traffic light turn right for Carbonia (4 lanes)
9. In proximity of Carbonia continue up to the SS126 and take the direction of S.Antioco
10. You will find yourself on the SS with various roundabouts for Carbonia – always straight.
11. Continue towards San Giovanni Suergiu and cross it.
12. Staying on the coast road, after the detour to Porto Botte, finish the large curve slightly uphill and exit right onto the SP73 towards Porto Pino.
13. Stay on the SP73 coast road to the end of the Is Pillonis T-junction where you will proceed right to Porto Pino.
Reach the B&B; La luna sulla duna.
1. arrived in the center of Porto Pino, you will find an intersection where, to go to the beach you will have to turn left, at this intersection (there is a tobacconist on the corner) you have to go right, the road in the pine forest becomes a dirt road, after about 200m take the 2nd left (the first is a large paved road) is the uphill and unpaved Via Sa Salina.
About half way up, turn left onto the only paved road you can find, 100m and you have arrived, the house is on the right, the one with the parking in front and a fantastic view!
